Background

On November 6, 2023, M:USB released a trailer video announcing that a member from (G)I-DLE, aespa and IVE would be releasing a special collaboration single. (G)I-DLE's Soyeon was confirmed to be part of the recording on November 10, followed by IVE's Liz and aespa's Winter.

Composition

“	The Unexpected Collaboration SOYEON of (G)I-DLE + WINTER of aespa + LIZ of IVE = NOBODY A bucket list item for global K-pop listeners. A combination that was imagined but not actually possible unfolds before us. Soyeon, the leader of (G)I-DLE, a producer and musician with a unique sensibility; Winter of aespa, the main vocalist representing K-pop idols; and LIZ of IVE, a vocalist with a luxurious voice. The new song 'NOBODY' is based on disco-influenced production, which breaks away from the existing K-pop composition method. Based on disco, a representative pop genre, it was recreated with a completely new sensibility by mixing only the strengths of K-pop. Producer Park Geun-tae, who skillfully led this new attempt that was not as easy as it seemed, Jang I-jeong (EL CAPITXN) of Big Hit Music, and famous Swedish and Korean writers, and lyricist Seo Ji-eum participated to complete the dream. NOBODY, who has made the dreams of global K-pop listeners come true, hopes that through this project, the dream of all Koreans, Busan Expo 2030, will come true.	”
