SM Rookies Logo
SM Rookies is a program for trainees. Many of SM's trainees like Ningning and Hina came from SM Rookies. They mainly participated in The Mickey Mouse Club, where they sang songs and played games with the others in SM Rookies. Some of the girls have left, including Lami and Herin, one having trained for 10 years prior to that, and some still remain in SM today.
On October 28, during a press conference about Aespa, a teaser video was revealed with the complete line-up of the group, including Ningning. This confirmed that Ningning was the last S.M. Rookie to debut as there's no more members in the pre-debut team. Also, the only girls that debuted are Ningning, and Red Velvet's Irene, Seulgi, Wendy and Yeri.
