In order to run a functioning community, a wiki requires users who have access to different functions of the site. While any user can edit pages, add images, and leave comments, administrators are able to delete, create, and protect content on the wiki others cannot. This is to insure the proper growth of the community, while also moderating the information on the wiki in order to create an accurate source for any and all users who are interested in aespa.
Bureaucrats, Administrators, and Content Moderators
Bureaucrats are considered to be the head-admin of the wiki. They are administrators and therefore have all administrative functions, while also being able to promote and demote users from additional roles. Once a Bureaucrat is promoted, they cannot be demoted.
Administrators are entrusted with the ability to block and ban users as well as edit and delete any information on the wiki as they see fit. They are also able to edit CSS and control internal features of the wiki which are the foundation of the wiki theme and the community's desired editing tools. Administrators can only be promoted by Bureaucrats.
Content Moderators are users who have additional tools available to moderate specific parts of the community. These tools are:
- Deleting and moving protected pages
- Deleting and moving files
- Undeleting pages and files
- Rollback
- Re-upload files
- Protecting and unprotecting pages
Content Moderators can be promoted by Administrators or Bureaucrats.
